Pandoro
The Pandoro is traditionally a Christmas cake from the city of Verona, recognised by its conical shape which represents an eight-pointed star.
The Pandoro is traditionally devoid of garnish, and is normally only sprinkled with icing sugar. In recent years however, the Pandoro has evolved to also incorporate candied fruit, creams, or even chocolate.
